Description

This is the local South African version of the popular Random Wire multiband HF antenna, in a portable or SOTA/POTA format with wire winder. Perfect for 40m – 10m at up to 100 watts, but also light enough for QRP. If necessary you can change the lengths of the legs for optionally broader coverage.

;-)) If you need more power we have made a few 200W, 600W and 1kW special orders as well ;-)). The secret sauce is in the careful selection and testing of the 4:1 (or 9:1) balun – a fine art that we have perfected. Note: The length of the wire can be adjusted for various SOTA options.
