Q40R SOTA – Random Wire SOTA HF Antenna Set

This is the local South African version of the popular Random Wire multiband HF antenna, in a portable or SOTA/POTA format with wire winder.

Perfect for 40m – 10m at up to 100 watts, but also light enough for QRP, we can also provide you with an optional 80m extension to cover most of the popular amateur bands with perfect results.

;-)) If you need more power we have made a few 600w and 1kW special orders as well ;-))

The secret sauce is in the careful selection and testing of the 4:1 (or 9:1) balun – a fine art that we have perfected.

Note: The length of the wire can be adjusted for various SOTA options
